Die Vogelbeobachtung am Oberlauf des Acheron River ist eine Aktivit\u00e4t, an der sich jeder erfreuen kann, ob erfahrener oder gelegentlicher Tierliebhaber.<\/p>

Das <\/span>Gebiet ist wichtig f\u00fcr br\u00fctende, ziehende und \u00fcberwinternde Wasser- undRaubvogelarten<\/span>, die durch die Berner Konvention und die Richtlinie 79\/409\/EG „\u00fcber die Erhaltung der wildlebenden Vogelarten“ gesch\u00fctzt sind, und ist ein Lebensraum f\u00fcr viele endemische Balkanarten. Aus diesem Grund wurden die Acheron-M\u00fcndung und ihre Meerengen in die Important Bird Areas of Greece (Birds of Greece) unter dem Code GR077<\/span>aufgenommen. In den felsigen Meerengen des Acheron sind die charakteristischen Arten der Schmutzgeier, der Steinadler, der Schelladler, der Wanderfalke und auch der Geier weit verbreitet. <\/p>

Eine weitere Vogelart, die im Gebiet des Acheron River h\u00e4ufig anzutreffen ist, ist der Alcyon. Diese kleinen, farbenpr\u00e4chtigen V\u00f6gel kann man auf der Jagd nach Fischen \u00fcber das Flusswasser huschen sehen. Auch andere Wasserv\u00f6gel wie Enten, G\u00e4nse und Watv\u00f6gel k\u00f6nnen am Flussufer oder in den Feuchtgebieten rund um den Fluss gesichtet werden. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
