We greatly appreciate you choosing Piges Hotel for your stay. For this reason, we take great care to safeguard and protect the confidentiality of the personal data we hold.

At Piges Hotel we follow strict procedures to protect the personal data of our customers in accordance with European Regulation 679/2016 and Laws 2472/1997 (with amendments to Law 3625/2007) and 3471/2006 for the protection of personal data in electronic communications.

Collection of information

To complete your reservation, you will be asked for certain information that is necessary to process and complete your reservation, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, billing information, and any preferences regarding your reservation.

If a credit card is used, the type, number, name of the holder, expiry date and the Security Code Number (CCV) of the credit card are required. Upon completion of the process, an electronic communication will follow to confirm your reservation.

Personal information collected through the site is stored in multiple protected databases, while the necessary electronic and physical security measures have been taken to protect this data. Upon payment of your stay, your credit card details are deleted from our database.

By accepting this privacy policy, you consent to the use of your personal data by Piges Hotel.

Credit card data protection
In order to protect and safeguard your personal data, we implement appropriate software and procedures to protect your credit card details.
Our server and network are protected by a firewall against unauthorised access.
For bookings made through Booking.com, your credit card details are transmitted to us via a secure network server, which encrypts all personal information and credit card details so that they cannot be read. The information requested from you concerning your credit card is transferred over a “Secured Sockets Layer” (SSL) line provided by Thawte.
For reservations made through the Piges Hotel website, the information requested is transferred respectively through the “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) and the “PCI” Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
In addition, we implement procedures and use systems that guarantee security combined with technical means and restrictions on access and use of personal information. Only authorized employees are allowed to access personal information in the course of their work and only when it is directly related to the services we provide.
Your credit card details are stored with your user details until the date of your departure from the hotel. After payment of your stay, your credit card details are deleted from our database.
Piges Hotel Loyalty Club
Piges Hotel offers its guests the opportunity to enroll in the Piges Hotel Loyalty Club, which is a loyalty and rewards program that provides offers, privileges and discounts at the hotel. In this context, we ask members to provide additional data such as: first name, surname, date of birth, email, telephone number, country, postcode or post box, username and account password, as required to enable the use of the program and the redemption of offers.
In addition, Piges Hotel reserves the right to share your personal data with all third parties participating in this program in order to enable the management of discounts where necessary.
Mailing lists and electronic communication
Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information regarding your reservation. This confirmation is equivalent to a guarantee of your reservation.
Piges Hotel has the right to maintain mailing lists (mailing lists) file with the e-mail addresses of visitors to send messages of informative or financial nature. These lists are the intellectual property of Piges Hotel and are therefore protected by the relevant provisions of Greek law and international conventions. Piges Hotel reserves the right to register and/or delete a person from the mailing lists.

Under any circumstances, including in case of negligence, Piges Hotel is not liable for any form of damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services, options and contents of the hotel which he/she undertakes on his/her own initiative and with the knowledge of the terms of this document.
The contents of Piges Hotel are provided “as is” without any warranty expressed or implied in any way. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Piges Hotel disclaims all warranties expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, those implying merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Piges Hotel does not guarantee that the pages, services, options and contents will be provided without interruption, without errors and that errors will be corrected. Piges Hotel also does not warrant that the same or any other related website or the servers through which they are made available to you will be provided to you free of “viruses” or other harmful components.
